Income Tax and Self Assessment Tax Returns:
• Paper tax returns: Midnight on October 31 following the end of the tax year.
• Online tax returns: Midnight on January 31 following the end of the tax year.
• Payment of any tax owed: Midnight on January 31 following the end of the tax year.

VAT Returns:
• Quarterly VAT returns: One calendar month and seven days after the end of the VAT quarter.

Corporation Tax:
• Filing deadline for corporation tax returns: 12 months after the end of the accounting period.
• Payment deadline for corporation tax: Nine months and one day after the end of the accounting period.

PAYE (Pay As You Earn):
• Deadline for submitting annual returns (P60s and P11Ds): May 31 following the end of the tax year.
• Deadline for submitting Real Time Information (RTI) reports: By the end of the tax month (usually the 5th of each month).

Capital Gains Tax (CGT):
• Filing deadline for CGT tax returns: Midnight on January 31 following the end of the tax year.
• Payment deadline for CGT: Midnight on January 31 following the end of the tax year.

Inheritance Tax:
• Filing deadline for Inheritance Tax returns: Six months after the end of the month in which the individual passed away.
• Payment deadline for Inheritance Tax: Six months after the end of the month in which the individual passed away.

 

These are general deadlines, and it’s essential to verify specific deadlines with HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) or your tax advisor, as they can vary based on individual circumstances and legislative changes.
