Making Tax Digital (MTD)
HMRC have postponed ‘Making Tax Digital’ (also known as MTD) for self-assessments. But it will be coming in the future. The best thing you can do to prepare for the change is to make sure you have a separate bank account for your business finances. And consider an online bookkeeping app like Xero. When tax does become digital, you’ll be in a much better position to submit your returns.
